Saturday, April 8th at 2pm We are building flammable sculptures out of natural materials. 3-6pm Bring a dish to be cooked on a fire and shared with the group in hopes of creating a micro food festival based around campfire cooking. After dinner we will ignite the sculptures that we made and throw a party. You are strongly encouraged to bring musical instruments, spin fire, tell a joke, share a story or poem, dance routine, or show off whatever else you’d like. Bring camping chairs or picnic blankets if you can.
Guests are encouraged to camp out overnight.

Sunday, April 9th starting at 10am we have a day of skillshare workshops. So far we have presenters sharing about barefoot running, priorities of wilderness survival 101, sculpting art with cob, identifying local plants, and more. Workshop schedule will be determined during the event.
Collective Embers is being held in Louisa, Virginia in an off-grid location, which means there may not be some of the amenities you are used to, so plan accordingly. There is minimal electricity, plenty of wildlife, and outhouses instead of toilets. We recommend bringing your own water, as we have limited drinking water available.

This is an all ages gathering, so children are welcomed. Hopefully folks can come with workshop offerings for the littles. In case of rain the event will be postponed. Reach out if you can come early to help set up.
Hope to see you soon!
